So this is the last blog required for my computer class. This is the last blog for the semester. I really like blogging though and I am considering to still blog after this class is over with. I really like this class too. Mrs. Boyer, you are a great teacher and I have enjoyed your class. You have taught me computer skills that I did not even know existed. lol I really liked our classroom conversations. We always had interesting things to discuss, especially when you and Brandon would argue about republicans and democrats. My most favorite assignment that we did in the class would have to be blogging. I really like the website too. Thank you for being a great teacher Mrs. Boyer

As the semester is coming to an end, there is so much work to do, not only for my classes but also to transfer out of ODU full time. There’s so much paper work and documents for me to fill out. It is harder to leave the school than apply. haha This is so crazy. Everyday I feel like I’m bouncing back and forth between Virginia Beach and Norfolk, spending most of my time in the financial aid building. I am stressed, plus my shoulders and back hurts. Final examinations are coming up next week also. I know that I can make it threw all of this. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. He is what gets me threw my days. With the semester coming to an end, I must say I am a little excited to be going into a new environment and meeting new people. Hopefully I meet some REAL friends.

I also wanted to share something that happened on the night of December 1st. This was the night of the lunar moon but something else happened, something that scared me and emptied out my bank account and further paychecks to come. Now I just want to say that I have been driving for 3 years now and never got into a car accendent until the other night. I honestly believe it was not my fault but I had no prove and since my FATHER’S car rammed the person’s in front of me car, I was looked at as fault. Now let me explain, I was on my way back home to virginia beach to see my little 2 year old brother perform at his christmas concert. I left at 5pm (rush hour). Luckliy there was no traffic down terminal blvd so as I’m driving down this blvd, going up the ramp and picking up speed to get on the highway, the car in front of me suddenly hit it’s brakes and stopped. There was no car in front of him and it wasn’t like he pushed down on his brakes but kept going, the guy slammed on his brakes and just stopped on the highway ramp. I slammed my brakes when I realized he wasn’t moving but my car couldn’t stop that fast and BOOM ! I crashed! I couldn’t believe I crahsed my dad’s car, I have never got in an accident before, I was so upset, I was balling out tears everywhere. I had so many feelings, I was crying, I was shaking, I was scared. I immediately called my mom, telling her not to tell my father but knowing her she did and they came to where our 2 cars stayed on the ramp with the cop car following behind, causing worse rush hour traffic then was needed. We filled everything out and left, now I don’t have a car to drive around in and I have to come up with 400 dollars by the end of this month, so much for my christmas

Conspiracy Theory

So some guy named Jesse Ventura aired on T.v. last night at 10:00pm to talk about the government’s conspiracy theory. He talked about something rather interesting that I have not heard before, it was called HAARP. Now HAARP stands for High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program, basically it is a project going on in Alaska. It can mess with the ionosphere. It was started in 1993 but even then there were skepticism. Just recently it has been brought to the public eye on tru tv. Last night was the first premiere of this doumentary. I find conspiracies to be oh so very interesting. lol I ask that you do some research and voice how you feel about this project.

So I guess I should tell everyone that I have already registered my classes. I have registerd for my classes at both Odu and TCC. I am dual enrolling and the ONLY reason for me to dual enroll is because with the career I want to have when I graduate is a physical therapist. The science credits at TCC would not have been able to transfer to a four-year college for me. TCC is more than half the price per credit. ODU’s credit is 236 dollars while TCC is about 88 dollars. Enrolling fulltime at TCC cost about the same amount it’s costing me to continue to take my anatomy class here. I find it so crazy for education to be so expensive but I guess that’s the way it is…

Too many ppl

Since I came back from Delaware, I’ve been dealing with issues with my roommate but never flat out said exactly what has been bothering me. Everyday, absolute no lying, she has had people over here till like 3 in the morning. And it’s not just one or two people, over six or seven people be up in here. Sometimes they even sleep over or she leaves the room and doesn’t come back till the morning. This has become a problem for me because I love to sometimes, well most of the time just have peace and quiet to myself. Even if I don’t have anything important to do. Whenever I come back from hanging out with a friend or from the library studying, I hate to see everybody crowded up in my room. It’s become annoying now. The other night I walked in to everybody in the room and had said “is there going to be a party in my room every night?” I really can’t stand it but what really pissed me off today is that today is FRIDAY. FRIDAY is my day. Friday is my clean up, eat, and relax day. So after my 10am class every Friday, I wash my clothes, fix up my bed, vacuum and get a to go box from the cafe downstairs, relax and watch some t.v. How the can I do my stuff when I walk in with her not in class but on the bed with another boy and with another boy on the floor, all sleeping ?! I’m really fed up and I don’t know how to get how I feel across without seeming rude. I wonder how she’d feel if i did the same to her and she was in my position.

I feel like I’ve been slacking on my school work here, I know I’ve been slacking on my school work. I need to get everything back together and start busting my butt off again. I can’t afford to fail any classes or get anything average or below. I am an above average student and I need to continue to stay that way. I cannot believe I even let myself slack off. I am shooting for an A in all my classes and I don’t think it’s impossible. I know I have the ability to accomplish this task and that is exactly what I am going to do.

I like the rain just not when it’s ugly, dark and gloomy, cold and rainy outside. These combinations don’t mix AT ALL! And since I dorm all the way back at Whitehurst, I had a loooooooooong way to walk in the rain. I am soaked, my bag is soaked and the worst part of it all is that I am so freaking tired, I can fall alseep right now on the keyboard in computer class. This is just one of those days that make you want to sleep all day. I mean who wouldn’t want to stay snuggled up, all cozy and warm in their bed. I wish I could, too bad I have to go to all my classes today, They are too important to be sleeping in instead, plus I have an exam after this class and a 3 hour lab today

OVERWHELMED

I have been so overwhelmed by everything lately. Today I just withdrew from my math class because I was failing and there was no way for me to pass. A w looks better on your permanent record than an F. Earlier this night, I had a meeting with the Whitehurst undergraduate assistant about my poor grades and how I can do better. I am also trying to balance out work, studying, and modeling which has become difficult for me. My mom just had her 7th baby and I have to leave ODU early tomorrow to register for TCC. This weekend I am also training to become a server instead of a hostess. I feel like everything is just too much for me and I need a vacation from it all! Sunday I am going back to pole vaulting which I don’t feel stressed out about. I LOVE pole vaulting and will always make time for this sport. I’m hanging in here though until the winter break comes to take my vacation. lol

P.S. i know this blog is so random and probably does not make sense but oh well

I am so happy and I want to brag because next weekend I get to see my boyfriend and we haven’t spend any quality time since the beginning of Sept. which is a long ass time!!! I finally purchased a greyhound ticket and I’ll be on my way Friday afternoon. I miss him so much and I love him a lot. I’m also so grateful that our relationship is so strong to last through this distance. Over three and a half years with many more to come. He is my high school sweetheart and soon to be my husband. YO TE AMO EDWARD LAMONT HURLEY JR.
